About Homecare CaliforniaFree No-Obligation Consultation: 866-949-2329

Homecare California was founded on the belief that Californians of all ages deserve freedom and independence throughout their lives. We feel strongly that the quality of life of seniors is greatly improved when they are able to live in the comfort of their own home with experienced caregivers supplementing the love and care of family and friends.

Homecare California is a privately owned senior in-home care and assistance organization located in the heart of Northern California’s San Francisco Peninsula. Homecare California is accredited as a Certified Home Care Aide Organization by the California Association for Health Services at Home.

Our Founder

As a long time Palo Alto resident, Lisa Danna Hartwell was inspired to found Homecare California by her participation as a volunteer in Stanford Hospital's Partners in Caring program for Bay Area seniors. As Homecare California's Executive Director, Lisa is responsible for all client care and caregiver selection. Lisa has been recognized as a Certified Homecare Aide Manager by the California Association of Health Services at Home.
